How it works:
The tiny magnets should be placed in both ear canals (1-1 magnet per ear canal), all the way to the eardrum. Here, the magnets are vibrated by the induction waves generated by the induction loop. The vibration is transmitted to the eardrum and an audible sound is produced.
Attention!
Contrary to popular belief, magnets are not tiny speakers! They do not physically emit sound, they just vibrate. If they don't reach the end of the ear canal to the eardrum, you can't hear their "sound."
Based on our customers and our own experience, we think so:
It is extremely small, so it is difficult to get it into the eardrum. If it doesn't stick to the eardrum properly, the sound is almost inaudible. In use, it can fall off the eardrum with a yawn or speech. It only "works" with the reinforced induction loops, so we recommend using these only. It is not without risk, as the tiny magnet can easily cause damage to the wearer's eardrum when placed in the ear canal.
